Published Works
Featured Poems.
1.
Internal Blisters
Wounds that cut us the deepest.
Often leave traces.
Undiscernible to your naked eye.
Melancholy scars.
Buried so far.
….
Below the surface.
You wonder if they even exist.
2.
I don’t want to live…
as if there’s no tomorrow.
I want to live…
as though I traveled back in time.
To this very moment.
And take in all the beauty
I couldn’t see the first time around.
3.
I Just Couldn’t
When I reached out my hand.
To touch the moon.
And couldn’t…I cried.
Not because I wanted it.
But because you did.
4.
Is it Odd That…?
I crave isolation.
An inner fortress with glacial walls.
A quiet that stills my mind.
Escape from judgment.
Even so…from time to time.
My thoughts get too loud.
And the only thing that can silence them.
Is the warm hug that signals your presence.
“Next time I run and hide. Don’t find me. Instead, let me find myself. Even if the person I find, is lost…”

About The Author

Angela N. Moore is the Founder of The Moore Signal Archive—a poet, artist, and strategist who looks for the beauty in the data we leave behind.
By day, she works as a Collection Transfer Assistant at a Rare Book & Manuscript Library, helping to preserve and move history into the permanent record. By night, she explores the stars as a NASA Citizen Scientist and leaves “literary leaks”—hand-signed artifacts—in quiet corners of the world for others to find.
Her visual art has been featured in a national New York Times ad campaign, and her writing has been published in award-winning journals such as The Literary Yard, Rue Scribe, and The Drabble. In 2015, she received a Milli Award for her contributions to creative communication and research.
Whether she is analyzing a distant exoplanet or documenting a neighborhood walk, Angela’s work is a “labor of love” dedicated to the art of discovery.
